What is this about: Ephraim Winslow is sent to the lighthouse to work as Thomas Wakes helper for a month. Island's longtime keeper proves to be very demanding and even intimidating and seems to want to keep his secrets. Working in isolated island doing burdensome chores causes harm to both of them. Athmosphere is dark from the beginning 'till the end.
Content warnings: Violence.
Best about it: Thoughtful characters and pleasant visuality.
How did I felt: A bit anxious, partly heartbreaking. I did not like this movie at all, but I still think it's a good one. Not a good-mood movie.
