The Bad batch

Strange isn't it? Here we are. In the darkest corner of this Earth. And we're afraid of our own kind.

Year: 2016
Director:
Ana Lily Amirpour
Writer: Ana Lily Amirpour
Starring: Suki Waterhouse, Jason Momoa, Jayda Fink, Keanu Reeves, Jim Carrey, Yolonda Ross, Aye Hasegawa, Giovanni Ribisi, Louie Lopez Jr., E.R. Ruiz, Cory Roberts.
What is this about: Criminals are expelled to the dessert where normal laws are no longer valid and different gangs have different methods of surviving.

Content warnings: Violence, cannibalism, drugs
Best about it: Dystopia with many clichés but also with some freshness. If you wanna be sure you don't get bored during a movie, this is certainly worth watching. Good amount of action with enough emotional depth.
How did I felt: Partly super disgusting, but mostly not too much horror elements. Captivating storyline. Really well written. Acting was partly a bit but it didn't really bother. While watching this I was entertained, little repulsed, scared, happy, hopeful and sad. Underrated movie but I dare to say it was good two hours.
Goodness: 5/5
Weirdness: 4/5
